Despite cold and windy conditions, 16 riders from 19 to 5 years old hit the water on February 18 for the Taswake Wakeboarding Coaching Day. Spirits were high and all riders made solid progress throughout the day. It was great to see everyone improve their technique and add a few extra tricks to their riding. On April 18 Bic Life Hobart held a Stand Up Paddle Board day. They paddled the length of Meadowbank Lake from the causeway to our southern site. The conditions were perfect for them with the wind up to 15 knots NNW to WNW which was perfect. If took 2hrs paddling time and they stopped and ate lunch on the way. Our annual Camp Quality and Canteen Day was held on Saturday 23 February 2013 at our southern site. It was a magic day, with fantastic weather and huge BBQ lunch. 20 children and their family members attended from both charities and they gave it their absolute all on the water.
